Probe Heat Buttons broken by SU1

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue:
Prior to SU1, I could turn on the probe heat in the Vision Jet and the Pilatus. It doesn’t work any more - you cannot flip the switch in the cockpit if you try it with the mouse, you cannot use the hotkey, and I tried re-mapping it and it still doesn’t work. SU1 appears to have broken this.

If applicable, which aircraft is experiencing this issue:
These are just the two planes I use a lot, maybe more aircraft have the issue.

[PC Only] Did you remove all your community mods/add-ons? If yes, are you still experiencing the issue?
N/A

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
100% of the time.

REPRODUCTION STEPS

Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:

  1. Start a mission in career mode.
  2. In the plane, try to turn on Probe Heat.
  3. The switch won’t move, so you end up with no probe heat in the plane for the whole mission.

Are you experiencing the same issue in freeflight ? Just tested both aircraft in free flight and no issue.

Just tried this now in Career - SF50 Pitot Heat works fine vie virtual cockpit switch or my keybind on the joystick.

i did test it in free flight, and I had the same problem. I went in and checked the specific binding again to the Bravo, and I completely deleted it. This allowed the button to work again.

This is only a workaround. Something in the SU1 update changed this - you should be able to bind this function to any button on an external device like a Bravo without preventing the use of the button in the cockpit with a mouse. It used to work before SU1.
