I have an Problem with the Fenix A320 . When i set in EFB that the Panel State should be “Cold and Dark” as default and i start the Simulator with the Fenix A320 the no Switches works. I cant see the external Power Connected . And im not able to start the EFB ,
You should see a green Avail lighted switch below and to the right of BAT 1 and BAT 2 if external power is connected to the aircraft. You can use the aircraft-specific EFB to connect the GPU if it is not connected.
Thats my Problem , that i dont see the green light , because there is no GPU connected when i start as default in Cold and Dark Cockpit .
No GPU , No green available light , no power for EFB . No power for nothing .
When i start in default State and change to “Cold and Dark” in the EFB then its “Cold and Dark” but with a GPU connected .
Yes , i think the same . But when i press BAT 1 , nothing happens .
The Fenix App is Running in the Background and when i choose another Version of the Fenix A320 then it works in the default state .
That is what happens!
Because of Airbus philosophy, no light on indicates there are no issues.
When the Battery button is pushed, it is in the correct position, and no light is shown.
The first battery connected will have no indicator light showing, as there is no power.
When you connect the first battery the second will light up as there is power on the system now.
Here what Google means :
An Airbus A320 has battery power when a Ground Power Unit (GPU) is not connected. The aircraft is equipped with two main batteries that can be switched on to provide power to the essential DC bus, allowing for cockpit lighting, APU starting, and basic systems operation during a “cold and dark” state.
Please can someone check this behaviour on his site . Was very helpfuhl .
Start with Fenix A320
Choose in Fenix EFB default Panel State “Cold and Dark” and set this to default Profile.
If you have pushed both the battery buttons in, and nothing is working, and it does this consistently, the first thing I would do is try restarting the flight.
If that doesn’t do any good you could try a reinstall of the aircraft.
You could also post this on their discord. https://discord.com/channels/736572376967282769/1310278317550604508
When you start your flight and nothing seems to be working, check to make sure the Fenix A320 application started in the background and is actually signed in to your Fenix account. Otherwise a bunch of things may not work.
Most probably your Fenix A320 application is not working. Manually search on windows search bar for “FenixSim A320” and start the application. Give about 30 seconds or so. Click on restart all in the application itself if just opening it didn’t work. That should fix it.
