Problem with rudder using Logitech G940 pedals

Has anyone managed to get continuous rudder behavior with the Logitech G940 pedals?

While I have no problem with Xplane, with fs2020 the rudder goes directly from neutral to full right or left depending on which pedal I press.
This makes piloting very complicated, whether taxiing or flying.
Please note that the sensitivity test is OK (expected behavior)
I have the impression that the problem has worsened with the last patches (to be confirmed)

The pedals are my least favourite part of the G940. I have never loved them and know that they do suffer from noisy potentiometers which I cure by kicking hard left amd right a few times as part of my pre take off checks, but they never feel very linear in response. I do try various sensitivity settings, but the changes made to the sim itself mean that I am always chasing the curve and I am trying to live with it until the sim settles down in development. There aren’t many G940 users these days and I am posting this not very helpful reply just in case it makes you feel less alone!

Thank you Magic6420 for your message
As I indicated these pedals work perfectly with other simulators like Xplane and in the sensitivity test of this device in fs2020 the movements of the pedals seem to be correctly interpreted.
So for me this must be an issue at the fs2020 level.
Hopefully these issues will be taken into consideration by the developers…(?)
Thanks again and let’s keep hope.

check for duplicate keys for rudder controls , also have you allocated left. right switched instead of variable control. search for rudder to see what keys are allocated to it

Still using the keyboard!
Time for a yoke!

I have Logitech G940 pedals and they works fine with MSFS2020.
Check your settings on MSFS2020: Options | Controls | Logitech G940 pedals
Left brake axis = Joystick L-Axis X and check “reverse axis”
Right brake axis = Joystick L-Axis Y and check “reverse axis”
Rudder axis = Joystick R-Axis >Z and uncheck “reverse axis”

Try those values. After that you might want to adjust sensitivities.

Thank you for your answers which allowed me to find the solution to my problem.
In fact I was using:
Rudder Left (R-Axis-Z-)
Rudder Right (R-Axis-Z +)

Using
Rudder Axis (R-Axis Z)
(as Kaukinen indicated) behavior is OK

Problem solved . thx all

It also corrected the same problem I was having on a Thrustmaster Hotas 4 joystick. I’ve a feeling the latest mini-update somehow changed or affected the settings.

Thanks for posting

I will give it a try on my own G940 when I get the chance later this weekend. It is great to see that there are still some users around.

This last update has improved things on my pedals. They still have noisy pots, but a kick each way sorts it out. I don’t dislike them nearly so much now.
