So here’s my inofficial answer to your question in an inofficial language:
if you assign the power to your joystick then don’t use the “power up” and “power down” fields.
Leave them unassigned.
Instead use the “power lever axis” field and assign the “joystick slide control” to it.
but just the simple “X”…not the “X+” or “X-”.
Now you have the next problem: when push the slider forward you go from max power to
less power and vice versa.
The “invert axis” button will do its job for about 2 millimeters then falls back as before…
I solved this problem with my old Saitek joystick after 2 days (but don’t ask me how. Cannot remember.)
This morning the Thrustmaster arrived in the mail and I have that problem again.
