PS5: Full SimBrief Integration in the Default EFB (Sync with FMC and ATC)

One of the biggest missing features for airliner pilots on PS5 is full SimBrief integration within the in-game EFB.

Currently, PC users have access to a more complete flight-planning workflow, while PS5 users often need to rely on aircraft-specific tablets or manual workarounds.

We would like to see:

  • SimBrief login and flight plan import directly in the default EFB.
  • Automatic synchronization between SimBrief, EFB, and aircraft FMC/MCDU.
  • The ability to send the imported flight plan directly to ATC.
  • Consistent support across all compatible aircraft, not only selected add-ons.
  • A seamless airline workflow from dispatch to arrival.

This would greatly improve the experience for console users and bring PS5 closer to the functionality already available on other platforms.

For many airliner pilots, especially those flying the A330, A320, and future long-haul aircraft, this feature would be one of the most valuable quality-of-life improvements in MSFS 2024.

A modern flight simulator should provide a complete flight-planning ecosystem where SimBrief, the EFB, aircraft systems, and ATC all work together.

Please consider adding full SimBrief EFB integration for PS5 in a future Sim Update.

One other platform, actually. Xbox also doesn’t have access to the Simbrief EFB app, and it would be great to have it on both consoles
