Hi, I know this question has probably been asked often, but will 3rd party Addons(planes,liveries,airports etc.) be released on PS5 and when?

Unfortunately we don’t have any information we can share at this moment in time regarding 3rd party products on the MSFS 2024 Marketplace for PS5.

Will there be an update to the marketplace regarding MSFS content? I noticed there isnt the full range of aircraft from the various versions thats are available on playstation, only a limited selection of aircraft available for rental or purchase.

I’m am hoping for more 3rd party content on ps5 2026. A little disappointed with the lack of choice in the Marketplace. But it’s early days and to be fair I have only flown about 1/4 of the P.Deluxe content.

Hoping for Second World War aircraft (as I pine for MS Combat FS!)

Potential flight simmer on PS5 here. Unable to take the plunge right now - two things bother me;

I appreciate that a 3rd party market space was not possible to implement at launch, but the absence of a roadmap or timeframe for its arrival on PS5 is disconcerting.

PSVR support. Again, a timeframe should be forthcoming. Sony themselves have done next to nothing to support their VR platform, so anyone who has been invested in PSVR will be used to long waits and broken promises.

I want to believe, but I’m going to need more than speculation and rumours.

I know it’s still early since the release of FS2024 on PS5, but it’s disappointing that there has been no announcement regarding the marketplace. Whether we will get updates, aircraft, or aircraft liveries. I have the standard version and I miss having more detailed aircraft with more options.

Hello Devs,

please bring for us 3rd Party Content to the PS5 Marketplace. I would like to enjoy more Study level aircraft’s and handcrafted airports, also more liveries for airplanes.

Not confirmed any place, but have heard that it is expected to be implemented in the spring, around SU5.

I suppose a lot of it is down to 3rd party devs having to update their products to work on PS5 or the process involved. We don’t know anything about it, is it a simple or long winded process? I know PMDG are keen to release on PS5 ASAP but not heard much else about when that is likely to happen.

We are indeed! We just have no information when that will happen, and what changes, if any, we have to make.

I’m just wondering how the PS5 Marketplace functions? Will there be more payware aircraft and scenery included at some point? I keep seeing marketplace update posts for xBox, and I’m just wondering when those updates will start to be pushed for PS5 users.

The head of MSFS has said they hope to open up the PS5 Marketplace to third party developers sometime this spring (northern hemisphere :sweat_smile:).
