PS5: performance data for 3rd party aircrafts

Hello Devs,

is it possible to upload or getting the performance data for new aircraft (mostly 3rd party) ?

In this case we could have a more precise and better flight planning with efb or the ms flight planner.

This would be so much more realistic and makes more fun at least.

Unfortunately this isn’t something the MS/Asobo developers can do anything about. You would need to reach out to the third parties that made the aircraft and have them add the correct performance file to the package.

Agree with @Zadma. Most reputable devs publish their product specs and most others can be found in threads or online.

In my case, there is no data available from Carenado for the CT210N or from FSReborn for the Piper M600 SLS.
I know I can find the data online, but it isn’t saved correctly, and even after entering and saving the data, the message “Performance data not available” continues to appear.

Thank you for this. Yes I found these documents too in web, but I mean if I save the filled out form in the ms web planner than the data will not getting saved. Always „performance data not available“.

They’re referring to planner.flightsimulator.com and the Planner app in the sim - both of which get their data from a file within the aircraft. It can’t simply be user-edited.

Unfortunately most default/first party aircraft don’t even have this data at this point, so I’m not sure many 3rd party developers will bother going through the effort of creating it either. :frowning:

Any chance if it is requested via Navigraph it might appear?

Navigraph cannot update the performance JSON file within the aircraft’s Marketplace package. Only the developer can do that.

Ok thx. So we all have to fill out these forms manually in the flight planner referring to these documents data?

But i am wondering the planner isn’t saving it and everytime i am reading „performance data not available „.

No, what I’m saying is that the data must be input by the developer (or a very complex JSON file must be submitted by the user). It’s not something easily/intended to be done by the user themselves. The only practical answer is to petition the developer(s) that made your aircraft and ask them to update the aircraft to include the appropriate data.

Yes I have written an Email to Carenado and FSReborn about this issue.

I have got an answer of Carenado and they told me they can’t do upload file because as it has copyrights.

Confusing for me…

They likely misunderstood the question - what they probably thought you were asking for was an upload of the performance charts and other data from the real-world aircraft’s POH, and since they don’t license their aircraft with the manufacturers, they’d be unable to provide this. If you reply, you should include a link to planner.flightsimulator.com or direct them to the Working Title team for guidance on including adequate performance data for their aircraft.
