[PSA] XPForce force-feedback will be coming to FS2020!

Hello @jimkeir,

I’ve recently got an old Sidewinder FFB2 and purchased XPForce. I quite enjoy the experience especially the alternate trim functionality, it makes trimming so much easier!

I’ve noticed some strange behaviour though. After a stall and a following spin on many planes the pitch forces simple disappear. Even after catching the spin and returning to straight and level flight it becomes almost impossible to control the pitch since there’s not much resistance in the stick if there’s any at all. It almost feels like the forces are inverted. I was able to reproduce this behaviour with the default Baron, Carenado’s Mooney Ovation, both aerobatics planes from MSFS so I’m quite confident there’s some issue in the calculations after the plane gets seriously stressed. I’ve also noticed similar behaviour after simply reaching Vne or stall speeds in some aircraft but only sometimes and I couldn’t find any pattern there. The default Cessna 172 also has this issue right after spins but somehow once you’re out of the spin and flying normally again - the pitch forces are present as it should be.
I hope it was somewhat clear and you can investigate this.
It’s less of an issue for the planes you fly from point A to point B but it’s a game breaker for the aerobatics since these planes are flown very aggressive and the issue just pops out every flight.
