We were told long ago that if we bought, say, MSFS 2024 Standard Edition, that we’d be able to individually purchase aircraft from the “upper tier” versions…deluxe, premium deluxe, etc…in the marketplace.
I have the standard edition, and when I search the marketplace for an aircraft from another edition, the only option I get is to purchase the entire upgraded edition that plane is associated with.
Anybody else have this problem?
If so, any idea when this will be fixed?
The Marketplace is not up to scratch at the moment. Few are available but I am sure it will be updated at some point. To be honest it would have been better to buy a premium version as the planes are working out more expensive individually - and now even upgrading to a higher version is stupid money.
I thought of that, which is why I bought the standard edition. My only desired aircraft are the pc-24 and the dreamliner, and I figured they’d be around $25 each. I know the pc-24 is for sale right now for $25, but it’s not worthy of that price at the moment from what I can tell, so I’ll wait for it to be fixed. And a sale.
Since I can apparently only upgrade to the premium deluxe version from standard, which is $80, I save money and get what I want.
When we can buy them, and they’re not broken, that is!
