Divide and conquer,
Remove half your addons to a different folder, fire up the sim if fixed the issue is in the removed half, if not divide again and so on. Repeat until you bring it down to the offending mod.

Just want to be very clear hereā¦ You are a forum moderator right? I have spent Ā£1000ās on add-ons. Shall I just stop! then maybe otherās will too, if this is the attitude? If I like Pinkā¦No I dont, but I expect some kind of support, If I was sat at ASOBO Towers I would be thinking āYa know, this guy has a point, maybe some kind of CRC check to narrow down the issue, as it is clearly along that linesā
Or is this the thanks I get for supporting the Platform and the talented add-on devās freeware and Payware? Yeah I will interrogate each and every add-on dev to make sure they keep up with the SDK even though I just paid them $20+

You said that you were seeing this with addons, not the default sim. The post was merged by the Mod which introduced a possible solution for an issue which may be caused by addons, not the default sim.
Other people also pointed out a way to try and narrow it down, but you could not be bothered because of your Ā£1000s of addons. (Did not realise there were Ā£1000s of addons for this sim already, my guess would have been in the Ā£100s.)

If you use an addon mod it is easy to swap out addons, Iāve done it several times to identify rogue mods. Itās not even gonna cost you any money as one of the best addon linkers is free
no there is Ā£1000ās if you look at simmarket, Contrail etcā¦ direct. But the point is this.,
It take on average 6 mins to start the sim.
Going thorough 300GB of addons is going to take a while. I am sure there is scope for a utility to aid in tracking down rouge textures.

If I rename my community folder and start its ok.
I think there are now two different reasons for this. The first is a missing texture.
The second is a more recent occurrence and it only occurs from a distance. It canāt be a missing texture because Iām seeing it in airports Iāve created too and I canāt use a texture I donāt have.
I think itās something to do with caching but Iāve yet to figure it out.

I only see this at one airport and that is Superspudās EGOV RAF Valley, remove that addon, the pink textures go away. I also only see it at a distance so it goes away as I get close. Clearly in my instance as it doesnāt happen with the default, it is a problem with the addon.
I like the airport mod for what else it brings so I put up with it and hope it gets fixed in a future mod update.
People have reported the same at the Cardiff I did as well.
Like I said if it were the missing texture thing I wouldnāt see it, but I do. And it would be close up as well.
Iāve farted around endlessly with all sorts of variations but still donāt know what it is. Obviously itās got to be something. Iād love to know what.
Lots of users of mkvyās Gatwick are now having it as well.

I solved this by going through all the add-on airports I have, took 2 days to narrow it down, It was an old one from Flightsim.to I had forgotten about. I am not going to name it as it I feel that isnāt fair, but it is in the USA in Idaho. It has been updated.
idk why but many many airports have checkerboard textures , like kjfk , nukla and charles de gaulle too , i tried removing everything from the community folder and restarting and then reinstalling kjfk through the content manger too but to no avail
yupp i already did that and still nothing happened , as for now im pleased to report that the issue has been fixed and the only thing that fixed the issue for me was a reinstall and now it runs pretty well without those checkerboard textures, my best guess is that it must have been a corrupt install.

Well ā¦ I tried all the workarounds, fixes, etc. (including a āRepairā and āResetā). Nothing worked, so I had to bite the bullet and do a complete re-install - which (apart from the D/L time) wasnāt that painful.
Pink textures now gone!!!
I had the pink problems too. Afer installing latest EGKK from Flightsim.to the pink problem is gone

Thank you! I noticed pink ground textures for the first time today at LFPG. I installed the latest EGKK and the pink textures are gone. In the release notes he did point out the previous version was causing pink textures at some community airports. I would have not have known had you not pointed it out.
I get the same pink/magneta on most POIs at Paris. I have no add-on airports be do have the London and Paris City packs. They were in the Catalog and no updates are available so I assume they are ok. I removed them and still have the issue.

Iām facing this issue through the month (maybe after SU5), and I found this topic.
Someone suggests to install EGKK scenery from Flightsim.to and Iād tried, but the problem doesnāt be solved.
I tried also remove add-ons in the Community folder, but it doesnāt too.
Is a clean install the only way left?
There is no need to remove all addons. Just rename your Community folder to Community.x and then make a new Community folder.
The new folder will be empty of any addons so you will have default only.
Then you can check if you still have pink airports or, as i have had recently, pink planes when using a 3rd party livery.
If you still have pink airports in the new Community folder showing up then that would indicate the possibility of a new MSFS install requirement. If that is needed then make sure you move your Community.x folder to outside of the MSFS directory but on the same drive. Then you still have all your addons available without the need to reinstall addons.
If OK in default no addons Community folder, you can then just drag and drop your addons one by one and do a test flight. You will then see which addon is causing the issue.

I have completely installed Update 6, see hardcopy āContent Managerā, but various graphics errors are displayed to me.
When flying over Cologne, the south bridge is displayed as a rose line and the St. Martin church as a pink block. The Hohenzollern bridge is completely missing, and Heligoland is a pink spot.
Does anyone have the same problems and know what to do?

at last, Iād reinstalled cleanly and solved the problem.
maybe some texture files are broken, because it causes the airport scenery only.
