QualityWings 787 for MSFS has been announced!

There is no radio silence but a whole website for this plane:

“7th march
Greetings 787 Drivers!”

(and every 3-5 months some updates are posted.)

Wow now that is one impressive bird! And I thought the 777 has this unique space-ship mood and atmosphere inside the cockpit, but the 787 truly tops it.

The latest post on the Facebook page was in March what was mentioned was only showing off latest thing for the P3D 787 they make. While in the comments of that post they mentioned that they are still working on it and will show progress when they had something to show.
So if they do make a post every 3-5 months then we are probably getting close to a time where something should be brought up by them then.

I have all of the QW aircraft in FSX. (lol) But I really wish they would come out with some type of news for us. I think they are really tying to get it right because look how we complained about the CS 777 and QW doesn’t want to drag us through the ups and downs of getting it right. Remember how we were about the 777 coming to FSX and PD3? I will support them because they are a great asset to the Sim community and we need a 757 and the BA 146 in the air in MSFS2020.

Hmmmm well I have to admit that I worry a little bit about the 787 too - we see a literally FINISHED plane on these screenshots with a completely finished cockpit… and no videos and no new postings are released for months after months after months to showcase this masterpiece a little bit more.

I really hope this 787 will make it - no one else is developing this beautyful futuristic bird with almost space-ship like cockpit.
I really want this plane because that cockpit absolutely gives sci-fi vibes. I have never seen anything like this before… except in Enterprise or Voyager or other Star Trek series.
Impressive contrast to the retro-tech PMDG Cloudmaster!

just saw this on a Discord server I’m on:

Thought that this comment has some truth in it about the next SU(5) and that they might have just wanted to hold off after that announcement. So, who knows, maybe a bit after the update, we may see some huge developments. I highly doubt that development has ended as the cockpit appears completed as @GamingCat2130 points out.

I wouldn’t exactly call it finished. The texturing and modeling are a large part of the aircraft, but its definetly not everything. The systems are extremely important, and we haven’t seen any of that. Honestly its the real reason I am excited for the QW 787. The 787 in MSFS is textured incredibly, however half of the systems on it just flat out dont work.

They seem to still be in the works with the aircraft, I am hoping for an update soon, I think at one point I saw a facebook comment (That I can no longer find) that said they would update when they had something substantial to show.

i have disrespect the ■■■■ for that lying acts to their audience

The simulator may be very complex for the programming work, but I can’t understand why you can’t even bring a status update in your own forum as well as on Facebook or here in the forum, although the demand is very high when the 787 will be released.

Yes … how difficult can it be to just give an update :-1:

This kind of attitude is really off-putting. It feels like mockery of a valid question.

Ultimately, transparency is good for everyone. The developer and the customer.

I’m not even saying they should give a new release window (may be hard if they were so much off-target that they don’t know), but something like “hey, sorry we missed our target. We’re still working on it and right now we don’t know exactly when we’ll release, but we’ll let you know as soon as we do” would certainly be helpful.

I wonder if, apart from 787, they will release other aircraft. I’m sure 787 is a masterpiece but I’m certain as well, that many sim pilots hope that there will come a developer saying “hey guys, we just had a thought! We’ll get Avro RJ back to virtual skies, this time in MSFS!”
But at the same time, I’m sure SU5 messed things a little bit for most developers.
Let’s just be patient guys. The planes will come.

Any Update about this?. 3-5 months have already been passed since the last update. I’m so excited about this plane.

No, no update from QW

I will probably use all my vacation hours when this plane comes out.
