Quest 3 controllers dropping out and won't wake

Just recently I’ve had a problem with my Quest controllers going to sleep from lack of use but not being able to wake up again unless I pull the battery out.

It used to be that if a Quest controller wasn’t used for a while, it would go into sleep mode but if you pressed any button, it would wake back up. In the last couple weeks, I find I can’t wake them up any more. The batteries are at 70 and 80% power respectively when active so it’s not dead batteries and it happens with both of them. I can press every button and nothing happens. If I pull the battery out and put it back in, it wakes up fine but that’s what I’m having to do every time. I didn’t file a bug report because I’m not sure if this is an MSFS issue or due to a recent Quest 3 update.

Anyone noticed this or is it just me? Anyone have a solution?

the sensor between the two pancakes is very not stable, use paper tape to cover it,

CHEERS~

It’s a Meta bug, I started getting this issue a couple of versions ago, I. On v69 now, not sure if it’s resolved

Never had issues with my Quest 3 like this. I did just get a controller update 2 or 3 days ago maybe, but no issues before or since.

Same for me. I guess time will tell if it’s solved in v69

I noticed a controller update a few days ago and now it seems the problem has been solved.
