I’m on Quest 2, but I’ve found I need to use the Oculus Debug Tool (\Oculus\Support\oculus-diagnostics\OculusDebugTool.exe) to restart the Oculus service and can then reconnect to the PC.

I’m glad that MSFS can keep going after this sort of VR crash. Some other VR games just crash entirely.

Moved to User Support Hub since a solution has been marked.

This is a known issue, the Meta Link PC software even notifies of it. The issue affects sliced encoding, if you disable it in the Oculus Debug tool you won’t have any freezes.

No idea if this is Nvidia’s, or Meta’s issue though.

I believe it to be an NVIDIA issue. Users are warned about it when opening the Meta software via a banner across the top of window.
