Hi all !
I cannot get VR mode to work in MSFS 2024. When I click the VR toggle in the settings menu, it just blinks and goes back to off. When I press Ctrl+Tab, the desktop screen goes black and stays black, the headset remains in the PCVR home environment and MSFS never appears in VR.
Setup:
- Meta Quest 3 connected via USB 3 Link cable
- AMD RX 9070 XT (driver 26.3.1)
- MSFS 2024 from the Microsoft Store
What I’ve tried so far (nothing worked):
- Confirmed OpenXR runtime is set to Meta Horizon Link
- Launch order (Meta Link app → enter PCVR home on headset → launch MSFS → Ctrl+Tab)
- PCVR home works perfectly, I can see my desktop and apps in VR
- Deleted UserCfg.opt
- Disabled HAGS
- Disabled Radeon Anti-Lag, Chill, and Enhanced Sync in Adrenalin
- HDR is not available/enabled on my system
- Clean install of MSFS 2024
I m pretty sure, it has to do with the quest3 and msfs2024 and nothing else as i have seen 2 others post discussing the same issue with vastly different hardware (other than quest3) without any solutions.
