I have a new quest 3 with 512 and using virtual desktop with vd streaming on an airlink. Everything is fine but in vr mode the left controller button C. No longer brings up a virtual keyboard. How can i do this in vr mode? Thanks in advance.
I think you need to use the left thumb click. For the keyboard

The one you can click with your thumb, not the one on the top . Squeeze it with your thumb while you hold the controller. It a button. for your thumb. Called the grip button.

If your using Virtual Desktop, you don’t need any meta software running
There is a new feature with beta virtual desktop . link usb connection instead of wifi . anyone tried it yet ?
Tried the new usb3 Link Cable (with official Meta link cable) version of VD (beta on both headset and streamer app) yesterday on both my QPro and Q3 (9800x3d/rtx5090 PC) and these worked very well with msfs2020/2024 using h264+ codec. Bitrates are limited to 400mbps with my QPro and 500mbps with my Q3 so I think I still get a bit better distance clarity using Meta Link at 750mbps max dynamic bitrate. These VD bitrate limitations are due to the way VD does their encoding, so hopefully they will improve this in the near future.
Overall, I think that this is a very useful addition for those with less than optimal wifi6 setups, and/or a lot of wifi interference. Cheers.
