Question about Honeycomb Xbox Hub compatibility

I have decided to upgrade my hardware and purchased both the Honeycomb Alpha yoke and Bravo throttle quadrant. I originally thought my thrustmaster rudders I already have would work with them, but it is Ethernet and only works with thrustmaster products. I recently saw on an old post that the Logitech Flight rudder pedals are compatible with honeycomb and its Xbox hub. Is this still true? I’d appreciate all the help, as I don’t want to spend another $400 on the Charlie pedals.

I have the same question. Do you know if it works?

I got the Logitech Pedals, I can confirm they do work with the Xbox Hub

I just purchased the Logitech rudder pedals for use with my Honeycomb Alpha/Bravo and plugged them into the Honeywell hub. The rudder pedals works, although I did have to reverse the axis for reality. I can’t figure out how to make the toe brakes work though. The input doesn’t appear when trying to map them through control options so I am questioning whether they are being recognized. @PunyAmerican do your brakes work? Am I missing something in the setup? I tried plugging the logitech rudders directly into the Xbox Series X but it wouldn’t recognize them at all directly.

Won’t let me use a photo, but for the right and left brake axis, I used Joystick L-Axis 11 for the right brake and L-Axis 10 for the left

Not sure if anyone has tried this but I just ordered the alpha xpc yoke / bravo quadrant and am curious to see if my turtle beach rudder pedals (velocity one) could work.

Not expecting them to, but has anyone tried?

EDIT:
I just saw in another thread that I can plug my pedals in the Flightstick (which I also have) and use that peripheral!! Can’t wait to test this out!! So happy

Can someone recommend another hub that will work besides the honeycomb hub or do you HAVE to use that hub?

Very positive that the Honeycomb hub is the only one that will work, it was specifically made for Xbox compatibility with their products.

Hello,

Sorry this is first time at this forum, not sure where to create new thread. But this is my question. I Got Honeycomb (Non XPC version) Bravo power quadrant and Logitech rudder pedals.

I have Xbox with MS flight simulator standard version loaded, Xbox is not recgnixing Alpha yoke (Non XPC) and Bravo.

Unfrtunately after I bought I discovered that non xpx vesrion Yoke wont work with Xbox.

I am very disapponted after spending good amount of money…, Friends I am requesting anyone could give me fair advise now for me what do to start my fligh simulation journey. I am new to simulation world.

Thanks,
Rama

Very sorry to hear that, it’s never fun when a small detail ruins the whole experience. Nonetheless, there’s always a way. I would try and get the regular yoke you have returned from the retailer you purchased it from. After that, get the XPC version. Might cost a little bit more since it’s that version, but it’ll be way cheaper than just settling for what you have and getting a PC. You’ve made it this far, might as well complete the last piece. And if you haven’t already, get the Xbox hub from them, too, that will allow you to connect all the flight controls to the xbox.

Thanks…My Friend,
I ordered the XPC vesrion from Amazon, God knows when I will receive they are saying estimated delivery is some time in October. Hope I will get sooner.
I am returning normal one though I am loosing some money as a fee.

Any thoughts from where I get X box hub faster, i see that except ebay every where out od stock.

Thanks

Here’s one I found. Unfortunately they’re all price hiked a bit with how in demand they are and Honeycomb being in a manufacturing crisis currently, but the controls are top notch. The delayed shipping is not unexpected either, but it’ll be worth it. I saw a few more hubs there too, so you may find one cheaper, but shipping probably won’t be too much of an issue given that the xpc yoke will take a bit anyways.

Hi Friend,
Now I received Honeycomb x box hub and Alpha XPC and Bravo and Logitech rudder pedals

I connected all devices as per suggested, all are operational but I still have questions…

  1. Why I am not seeing Bravo and Logitech rudder hard ware settings in control option in MS flight simulator software. I see only Alpha XPC yoke,
Any suggestions on bringing them into control settings.

  2. How to map or configure buttons on my alpha yoke

  3. Sometime I experience left rudder configure for right side and vice versa , how to fix this ?

I appreciate any guidance.

Thanks

  1. I wondered that as well when I first got them. Since all of the controls are connected via the Xbox hub, they are under the one umbrella, which is called Alpha XPC Flight Controls, or something to that nature. You should be able to make all your inputs through it.

  2. If pressing the buttons to map them doesn’t work, which i admit can sometimes be a pain, I used this to help configure:

To make sure the inputs are working as intended, flip the switches and test them in the sim.

  1. Sometimes, for whatever reason, the sim defaults to reversing the axis. In the control settings next to your rudder axis control (also can go for throttle, prop, mixture, etc.), untick the reverse axis option.

Hope that helps👍

Thanks Friend…
For all your suport and help. I was able work through point 1 and point 2 as per your suggestion.

For point 2, I went through document , I am having challenge in understanding what they mean Joystick POV LEFT/RIGHT in MS flight simulator control oprion to Physical Alpha Yoke control.
For example I want to configure X and Y knobs on Alpha yoke to map to see through Left window and Right window while flyigng.

Another question, can we able to add two additional monitors (Left and Right) to view full 180 dgrees view ?

Please advice. I appreciate for all help and guidence.

Thanks a lot

Of course, glad I can help.

For the bindings regarding looking left and right, I don’t believe I ever had to configure buttons for those. The default binding should be the little black knob on top of the left side of the yoke itself. It can move in all 4 directions for different views. The ab xy “buttons” on the yoke are default trim, left side being elevator trim, right being rudder trim I believe.

As for monitors, I have no idea. I just play on my 55” tv with my controls on a table next to it, I’d ask other Xbox members to see how that can be configured if possible.

Thanks a lot…
