Hello All
There is a Flaps-Lever on the CM3 which I would like to assign to “Extend/Retract Spoilers” - but for some reasons MSFS would not recognize this lever on the CM3
Any ideas?

You have it assigned correctly to rZ and calibrated it in the VPC Configuration Tool?
Then set it to the spoiler AXIS in FS-2020.
Hi Ensi
Calibrated - yes - assigned to rZ - no! Thanks! Will try now!

Nothing to thank for.
I’ll try to help where I can.
I ended up assigning the flaps to buttons 73-77 in equal portions, within the Virpil software.
Then in the sim, assigning these buttons to each flap setting.
Sorry to ask again - as my initial fix was not working.
So, I would like to bind the command “Spoiler Axis” to the “Flaps-Lever” of the Virpil Mongoos CM3.
For some reasons that does not work.
What I already did:
What am I missing?
Thx!
If i have trouble with the software, i ended up creating another profile in the VIRPIL software and starting again. Once complete, export the profile for use at a later date.
Have you tried assigning the flap lever to Spoiler axis or spoiler axis (0%-100%)?
Hi! Yes - I did exactly that - assign the flap lever to Spoiler Axis (0% - 100%). I even tried to use another control element like this lever that you have on the backside of the throttle levers - nothing. I have yet to fine a lever/slider whatnot that makes the spoiler extend/retract…
In the virpil software, is the axis moving from 0-100% as you would expect? If not, try a reprofile…
Yes - in the the Virpil Setup SW all looks fine.
When you go into Control Settings in MSFS: press the Sensitivities button and check if your axis appears and if you see movement on the screen when you move the lever.
If that works, MSFS “sees” the axis. In this case there is no reason why you should not be able to assign a function to it.
Another thing to check: some Axis have two flavors in MSFS. One is just Axis, the other is Axis 0-100%. Try both and see what happens…
Hi Stan
Thanks for your tips! OK - so I checked within the sensitivities and yes - MSFS “sees” my flap lever and it works as intended.
Until now I was dead sure I have to bind to the “Spoiler Axis 0-100%”. Because - well - it makes sense right?
But in fact, once I bound it to “Spoiler Axis” - it worked! Bam! Just like that haha!
Now, what Spoiler Axis 0-100% is - I guess Trump would say: “Nobody knows why” But hey - as long as it works!
Thanks again

Good that it works!
Happy flying!
