I guess it’s supposed to be 299 degrees, going by what I can see of the route. Somehow slipped through QA, or would have if there was any.
The T is presumably true, rather than M which would be magnetic.
restarted the mission and still the same number. I did a 360 and no heading is correct.
Noticed the true heading given on the first drop mission I did last night as well. That’s not a good way to communicate to a pilot unless we’re near the poles.
Regardless, they indicated 001T, but it wouldn’t give me credit unless I flew 001 magnetic (and not a degree off! The magnetic variation in that area is 3°E, which also makes this incorrect.
So several compounding errors, again. This should really be a bug report.
If they were paying me, sure. I’d file bug reports every flight. So far after this post I’ve flown 3 more of these with the same bug. Even if you get the right heading it will not hold it with the AP long enough for all the jumpers to exit. I feel this game is dying of a thousand paper cuts.
UPDATE: true heading only works in france…
You mean flying the given true heading as magnetic? Thats because much of France is at or very close to 0° magnetic variation/declination. In Seattle it’s almost a 16° difference.
