Question on PACX

So, a couple days ago, on the Orbx Direct site I bought PACX because it looked like this would be a cool addition.

After I bought it though, it said it won’t work unless FSUIPC7 is installed. That wasn’t available via Orbx Direct, so I went to Simmarket. There, they say before you buy it, try out the free trial to make sure it works. So I go to download the free trial, and THAT says you need FSWide Client. You try to get that, and that says THAT is not freeware, and you need to pay for that.

I bought PACX already. It doesn’t work unless I have FSUIPC7. If I just buy FSUIPC7, does THAT come with FSWide Client as part of the install, or do I have to purchase that too? I dont want to purchase a copy of FSWide if FSUIPC7 comes with a license.

You don’t need the paid version of FSUIPC7. The free one (direct from their site) is all you need.

Just install and skip the registration for FSWide.

I got an email from TFDI saying PACX has been updated as of April 28, but so far ORBX central is not showing any update for me. Has anyone gotten the update yet?

From their (TFDi) Discord, ORBX was provided with the files on April 28th but they have yet to distribute it.

If you bought from ORBX, you have to wait for them to release (no direct upgrade option available).

The update went live on ORBX yesterday, can get it now!
