Marketplace updates normally occur Thursday nights. Next week, the 40th Anniversary and SU11 will be releasing Friday morning. Are next weeks marketplace updates occurring Thursday night, or will they be occurring on Friday night after the 40th launch?
The 11th is a pretty big day for “Entertainment Geeks” such as myself. The new Black Panther movie, the 40th Anniversary of MSFS and another release of something that I can’t recall at the moment.

From past experience marketplace updates can be delayed by WU and the like. I’m expecting said delay, and if the marketplace isn’t delayed then it’s a bonus. It’s possible it’ll be released at the same time as the 40th. Only 6 days to go. I’m sure we can muster the patience and our questions will be answered.
It’s just mainly I look Thursdays for the blog after work, then wait for the marketplace release to update any products needed updates. That is like my weekly ritual. I realize next week is perhaps different, which is no problem. I’m just trying to find out early if I should skip that process Thursday night. Typically notification that there is going to be a delay happens long after the normal time of deployment and when the community is posting questions about what is going on. I would like to know ahead of time so I don’t waste hours on something that isn’t going to happen. It’s not that I am impatient. It’s that I would like to plan my time appropriately.
From my experience, the typical time for things like in-game shops, playlist updates, etc for games that I play (e.g Halo, Battlefield, Call of Duty) is always 11am my time.
I could have sworn MSFS was the same for it’s Marketplace.
But, lately, I’ve been noticing the Blog goes out first (3pm-5pm) and then the Marketplace updates extremely late. Sometimes, 8pm-to 10pm.
I’m hoping SU11 gets released at a decent time.
Release of the Sim Update (40th) will happen at around 10am EST. Same as all releases.
The Blog and then the Store Updates/Releases always happens Thursday nights. Typically between 6 and 8pm will be the Blog, and then marketplace updates sometimes between 8pm and 10pm EST.
I just try to keep my system as updated as possible so as to not cause issues, so I always wait for the Marketplace updates so I can update my addons and not forget.
