I used the Islander and Trislander often in 2020. Now, in 2024 I can not bring them to lift off? They need ages to speed up and can barely lift off, let alone climb.
In order to exclude any error on my side I started them “on the runway - engine running”. But it won’t work.
What am I missing?
If you got it in the Marketplace, we’re still waiting (I think). The developer has a fix though.
you need to install the 2024 aircraft via the installer from the blackbox website. the 2020 aircraft is not compatable
Oh - well I just saw it as an available plane in the selection in 2024. Since the marketplace is not yet in 2024 how did it appear in the sim for me? Was it just “pulled in by default” then? Anyways - thanks guys - it seems we need to wait (and wait and wait lol).
The new Islander 2024 compatibility version has already been released. Not sure on MP release status but us non MP buyers have it working great in 2024 by simply adding the updated package to the 2024 community folder. I actually think it feels better in the new sim than in 2020.
