The first thing I did as soon as I was lucky enough to download MS2024 was to take off from my home town small airport. And here is what I saw in default state.

Yes, I tried that and other tweaks but it doesn’t get the same feeling. Brown grass and very dark stains all around are in the base satellite textures. It all looks like over saturated or forced colouring.
I’m not comparing all 2024 vs 2020. Just the area I fly the most.
Those are a lot of trees in the 2024 pics, are there that many in real life?
Not in real life. The 2020 version is more accurate in that way. I am using SDK 2024 to create a modified version to correct many things but gives me CTDs every time.
I really miss the default grass in fs2020. The old grass is really dense and looks really good when coming into land or taxiing, but the new grass is far too sparse and only looks good once you are on the ground and even then the draw distance is so short that it only appears as you drive up to it. I’ve also noticed quite a few places where the ground textures in fs2024 are more blurred than in fs2020. I don’t understand why Bing would swap out higher resolution textures for lower ones, it doesn’t make any sense.
