No

Yes

Brief description of the issue:

My understanding is that every airport should be accessible from the World Map whether you have the bespoke version installed or not. (The difference should be that you’ll get a more detailed version if you have installed the bespoke airport, but you should still have the same parking spots and runways available to you in the default version.) In this case, the only way to get airport T004 to show up on the World Map is to install the package from Content Manager:
T004

Provide Screenshot(s)/video(s) of the issue encountered:

Without T004 installed:

With T004 installed:

ICAO or coordinates (DevMode > Options > Display position)

T004

Detailed steps to reproduce the issue encountered:

  1. Start Microsoft Flight Simulator.
  2. Go to Content Manager and install T004, if it is not installed already. (Note: You may also need to “purchase” the New Zealand world update from the Marketplace first.)
  3. Go to the World Map and search for T004.

Expected result: T004 shows up as a search result.
Observed result: T004 shows up as a search result. (No bug.)

  1. Go back to Content Manager and uninstall T004.
  2. Restart Microsoft Flight Simulator. (You have to do this or else you won’t be able to reproduce the problem. My guess is that the World Map holds some airport information in cache.)
  3. Go to the World Map and search for T004.

Expected result: T004 shows up as a search result.
Observed result: T004 does not show up up as a search result. (Bug.)

As an interested bystander, what is it that you want to do, that requires the airstrip to be disabled?
Also, as an interested bystander, it might be unrealistic to expect every tiny landing strip on the planet to be faithfully included.
The obvious solution is to just leave the generously provided freeware version installed, isn’t it?
