Is it ok to just right-click on the icon in the Taskbar and just choose close?
After a flight when I’m done with the sim, it seems silly having to go to the Main menu just to exit.

I think the only real potential risk is that some data may not have synced to the cloud. I’m on Steam and once in awhile I’ll get a message on boot that my local and steam cloud profiles are different.
Shutting down properly ensure the data has been written and synced.
