Yep, didn’t even have it open to start with. Will play around with a few more things, but the suggestion that it’s mod related is a helpful one.
Solution #3 helped me some. I still get driver timeout issues but not as often. Give it a try. Maybe it will help.

Here I thought updating to the latest Radeon Driver that allows for fidelity X… and im still crashing to desktop and getting a Graphics Driver Error. Is there a remedy for this? I tried the Regedit trick and didnt work.
I must be the luckiest person in the world or i have the sole working AMD card. The ONE and ONLY time i got a CTD using this my 6800xt card since i got it in February was 100% my fault (pushed the core clock over 2550mhz).
Doesn’t matter what the driver version is it just works. Not discounting what you guys are experiencing though. Sorry its not working out for you. Perhaps when the opportunity arises you can sell and move to the Nvidia equivalent.
Actually, I have driver driven CTDs too… when the card is overclocked.
after the last sim update it started, that I couldn’t run my 3080 overclocked in FS.
In normal mode it’s all fine
Oh i can run it overclocked still no problems 
I just went waaay overboard. Ive bench marked the ■■■■ out of it and know exactly its limits and i pushed it past that limit knowingly so when i got the ctd i was like meh … my fault and brought it down by 50mhz.
Considering im already 200 mhz above the stock boost clocks and the card doesn’t break a sweat i cant complain.
