Nope I figured it out. You see your plane is holy it casts an aura around it, fly slow and low with lights off and you will see that things coming at you will light up. So the rainbows and circle bows etc are a result of the aura/rain reflections…They get rather boring as to the amount of them but then they do something cool like this:
