Random Crash MFS 2024

Hi everyone, I’m having a very frustrating issue with MSFS 2024 and I can’t figure out what’s causing it. I keep getting the DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG (0x887A0006) error, but it happens completely at random. Today I completed two flights without any problems, then the simulator crashed while I was simply taxiing at Malta. Other times it has happened during cruise, halfway through a flight, so there doesn’t seem to be any pattern.

I have an AMD RX 9070 XT with the latest drivers installed. I’ve already used DDU to completely remove the drivers and performed a clean installation, but the issue is still there. I also checked the Windows Event Viewer and found a message about low virtual memory, even though my page file is managed automatically by Windows.

Has anyone experienced the same issue or found a solution? I’m starting to wonder if it’s an MSFS 2024 problem, an AMD driver issue, DirectX 12, or maybe an add-on, because I really can’t understand what’s causing these random crashes.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Settings fram rate

Or ask @TenPatrol he is expert.

@Petterwsto Thanks. Do you mean limiting the FPS in MSFS or through AMD Adrenalin? If so, what frame rate would you recommend? 60 FPS? i have RX 9070XT and Ryzen9 9950X3D.

Are your graphics cards 16 ?

yes, 16 GB! @Petterwsto

Hmmm you have stronger graphics cards then me.. it should work.

Try reducing your graphics presets.
