It’s seems totally random that one flight I will get floating airport lights and after the flight, I start a new flight (after exiting and re-entering MSFS) and all is well. Could be any airport too so I fail to capture any sort of pattern.
Any ideas?
Topic title updated to reflect what the issue is. Will help for quicker community assistance and easy search.
It’s not exactly clear what’s happening, but I believe there is an issue with scaled resolutions. If I am upscaling or downscaling for performance reasons using TAA, then airports outside of my initial scenery loading area will get floating lights. This one is hard to reproduce.
Well thanks - maybe I’ll try playing with DLSS vs TAA and see what happens. So annoying - especially at night.

When you say “floating random lights” are they white orbs? or taxiway markers?
Can you provide a screenshot?
All taxiway markers and runway markers “float”, including center lines. I wish I could do a screenshot but I always use VR and haven’t done any screen captures.

If you press Active Pause, press the Toggle VR button which you can map, you should be looking at a 2d image of the issue. You can screenshot from there, and just toggle back to VR.
