I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. the 787 is one of the most fun aircraft to fly the pattern in. It is really striking to me how easy it can be to hand fly this aircraft once you get on to it. I’m still struggling with the flare though. I definitely balloon in this. I don’t know if I just need to let it hit the runway. For whatever reason I feel like I’m going to rattle the engines off if I let it do that. Maybe it’s all in my head. But I’m right on my Vref, maybe I just need to let it land.
Anyways. KBNA ILS31 Clear Skies. Really fun to just take the aircraft up and run the pattern and get a feel for it.
