Razor Naga Mouse - Button Settings for Camera Views

Hi , does any one here have the Razor Naga mouse with the 12 buttons that you click with your mouse ? I’ve always used it with P3d and Chase plane to get my views , but this fs2020 is a whole different beast and i can’t set my views. If any one can tell me what tutorial to watch maybe i can get to be able to use this mouse -Thanks Louis

I don’t use the Naga but I’ve used Razer mice for years now. Currently using a wireless Viper Ultimate.

Setting your cockpit views in MSFS isn’t typically done by binding to mouse buttons. See this Zendesk article for all the details:

Now having said that, you can bind at lest some camera controls to mouse or controller buttons - zooming in or out, resetting or recentering your camera view, cycling through the views one after the other, etc.

Yes, i use this mouse in fs2020
I have progammed the buttons to key commands “alt 1” to “alt 0” and “end” “ins” with the razer software. Total of 12 buttons.
I set my custom views that i want in the sim with ctrl+alt” + number and it works perfect by clicking the mouse buttons. I use the same buttons for saved views, like frontpanel, close panel, OVH, FMC, throttle, pedestal, left, right, tablet, Ap.

Ok Thanks guys, well now I know you can do it , I’ll just play around till maybe i can figure it out .

I still can’t get it like you do Ane, is there specific procedure s to follow to get it to work ?

I have spent the last couple of days trying to figure this out, here’s what I have figured so far.

Using Synapse 2.0 I programmed each of the 12 keys
1=Ctrl+Alt+Shift+1
2=Ctrl+Alt+Shift+2 etc.

I went through all 8 of the available keymaps, cycling through
|Shift|Ctrl|Alt|
|Shift|Right Ctrl|Alt|
|Right Shift|Ctrl|Alt|
|Right Shift|Right Ctrl|Alt|
|Shift|Ctrl|Right Alt|
|Shift|Right Ctrl|Right Alt|
|Right Shift|Ctrl|Right Alt|
|Right Shift|Right Ctrl|Right Alt|

and adding the number row of my keyboard 1 to 0 with - and = for 11 and 12

So I now have 96 useable buttons.

The next challenge was figuring out why msfs would not let me map them to the mouse settings in the control panel.

Because I have to use synapse 3 for my keyboard they are not interchangeable.

So to fix it, I used the 2nd column in the keyboard to map the desired mouse button.

Go to the keyboard mapping, select the 2nd column field that you want to set, scan input, press mouse button, Hey Presto!!!

Its a lot more complicated than it should be, and also means that I cant use any triple combo modifiers on the number row for anything else, but worth the trade, as like you, I’m using it for camera control.

Now just got to go through the same process on my Virpil and then I can finally start flying.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the long explanation Martin ,cause i still can’t get it to work with my Razor and Chase Plane is contemplating producing it for this sim and if they do I’m gonna get unless i succeed your way gonna give it a whirl and get back to you

Hey Louisbm,
slight update on my pt2 things.
After setting that all up using the 8 different key modes, realised I had no idea which one I was in, so instead set up 8 different profiles that are colour coded.

I then set the scroll wheel right click to change profile to next profile and left click to previous profile, so now when I click right the number pad changes to a different colour so I know which section of controls I am in, and it will display the profile name on screen as a reminder.

Good luck

I’m a little lost Martin, i’m running the razor with 12 buttons that you push on the side with your thumb . I actually had a couple programmed but it was luck and don’t know how i did it so i do know there’s a way, but i tried to follow your instructions but got lost along the way . Only way i would get it is with you on team speak guiding me through .
