In the joystick settings (OPTIONS > CONTROLS OPTIONS > [joystick] > SENSITIVITY) there’s a setting for REACTIVITY. What exactly does that do?
It induces control input delay. In essence, it adds some lag to whatever input you make to the axis you have configured it.
If you turn the slider up and then watch the input indicator dots move along their lines, you’ll see it in action. It can be used to simulate hydraulic lag in larger planes that don’t have it otherwise coded, or if your hand has small involuntary twitches, it can be used to dampen the input.
