Realworld scenery Add On airports Fairbanks and Dayton CTD 2024 on XBox. Fixes should be on the way!

Realworld scenery is an addon developer who does some beautiful work when it works, but they have had some performance issues on XBox. Update: I have emailed the developer and performance updates are on the way. Here is the latest.

Realworld scenery add on airports cause MSFS to CTD on XBox. When you purchase a realworld scenery airport like the Dayton upgrade or Fairbanks in Marketplace for XBox it may have been unusable. You will not even be able to spawn an aircraft on a runway like their St. Louis product did for so long until they updated it after many months. This used to happen with the St. Louis airport as well. After months they released a performance update that improves LODs and FPS. It is really good now. But now the Dayton upgrade to 2024 from Realworld scenery crashes flight sim. They do not test on a physical XBox. I have spent alot of money for airports that were sold to me on XBox, but they have been completely unusable on XBox. I did lose time I have spent trying to make the airports work what would happen is the airports would CTD the sim. Now, I have an update to share. A new update for PAFA is on the way! So St. Louis now performs well on an actual console. I tested it. A PAFA update is on the way and should be out soon. I hope it works like St. Louis does now after a long anticipated updated. And hopefully, the Dayton upgrade will resolve the performance issue. So my whole perspective changed after emailing the developer now. I would recommend St. Louis now which is a big change. It does now work on XBox. I have tested it. And I will again. And a PAFA performance update is on the way. I hope it works. Anyway, I do hope this helps. They had been testing XBox on a PC, not on a physical console. They passed the XBox simulation tests, but they just did not work on the physical consoles. But now they are reworking them for improved LOD’S and FPS, and I’m thankful. So I’ve totally changed my opinion as the performance upgrades are on the way for consoles. Have a good one.

P.S. I only tested St. Louis using the Beechcraft Bonanza V35 which worked with the latest update. I have not tried an airliner. I’m hopeful for Fairbanks and Dayton, but currently the latest iterations and updates do not work on an XBox Series X. They need a good performance overhaul. Fairbanks is on the way and hopefully airliners will function. As of now, the Dayton upgrade for 2024 does not work on a physical XBox. It just works in XBox cloud gaming. Their Homer and other Alaska airports are really nice. They function good.
