Rebates for ATR owners who did not receive the Deluxe/Premium Deluxe Discount

Hello everyone,

We recently announced that owners of the Deluxe and Premium Deluxe Editions of Microsoft Flight Simulator will receive a 33% discount on the purchase of all first party aircraft going forward.

Unfortunately, due to an error on our part, this discount was not correctly applied when Expert Series I: ATR 42-600 / 72-600 was initially released to the Marketplace on April 24. We noticed immediately and corrected the issue very quickly. However, approximately 130 simmers who were eligible for the discount purchased the ATR at full price in the brief window before the discount was applied. Over the past few days, we have processed refunds for all people affected by this error.

We apologize that this situation took longer than expected to resolve. We have issued a full refund to all affected users, not just a partial rebate for the amount of the Deluxe discount. As a goodwill gesture, the aircraft will not be removed from your library, so you do not need to worry about purchasing it again at the discounted price.

Refunds are applied to the original payment method. If the money hasn’t been credited back to your payment provider already, please wait up to 72 hours. Depending on the bank, processing the refund can take up to a few working days.
