After slew, the aircraft settings are changed from before slew was entered.
Flying in a piston engined aircraft at altitude, or around high altitude airstrips and entering slew will reset the mixture to rich, thus cutting the engine.
These parameters should be saved when slew is entered and remain in that position when slew is exited. Alternatively as a minimum, please set the engine mixture to that which is set by CTRL+E for automatic engine start. This will ensure the engine settings are consistent with the environment and will keep the engine(s) running once slew is exited.
This occurs even if using slew to turn the aircraft around.
