I have a software app (MSFS add on) almost ready for testing.
The app is large and will require an hour of tutoring .. which I’d like to do with the pilot flying and myself albe to comment and guide them acting as co-pilot (which is what the software does)
Can anyone recommend software that would allow me to tutor MSFS pilots in flight?
thanks
I haven’t tried it, but there’s this: GitHub - Sequal32/yourcontrols: Shared cockpit for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Either that or use video conference with shared screen, monkey see, monkey do

As far as I am aware, and I’m really into it, there are none at the moment.
Of course there is YourControls, but it’s so unreliable and so glitchy, that you always have to do a shared screen so you can double check that everything you do, do replicates on the other person’s plane. You may also get sudden disconnection. I’ve given over 40 hours of trial, with all sort of different people and always gave me a headache. (Flight plan not the same on both side, different that we were not aware of so he landed lower than me, making me float to the gate, sudden disconnection, cockpit instrument glitch). Try it if you want !

Also, if your app requires an hour of hands on tutoring it’s tricky to get people to adopt it, and is also a huge time sink on your end.
I’d suggest making some core and supplemental learning content to do that instead: guided stepwise written tutorials and/or video walkthroughs with a natural progression comprised of short bite sized segments that can be resumed at any time, with an index.
This makes it easier to update as well if you modify the software, so you don’t have to redo/reshoot the whole thing, just edit a module or two.
Hit me up if you need some more advice there.

thanks for the thoughtful replies … I will in time, have tutorial videos and a manual for my software, but at the moment I want to do a 1 on 1 to see how pilots adapt to it and what is intuitive (at least obvious) with it and what is confusing. (an I am a born teacher, I am a CFI-G Flight instructor as a hobby and Commercial Pilot rating )
and at the moment I’m at the proof of concept point , will use the feedback to decide if I go forware with this. I wrote this originally 2 years ago , for myself, to make it easy for me to fly on VATSIM … it is very successful for that .. I can respond to flight contorllers much faster and more accurately with this.
