ISSUE DESCRIPTION

In the Red Bull Air Race (RBAR) Budapest Chicane, it is possible to pass through a pylon without triggering a “Pylon Hit” penalty.

The aircraft can physically intersect the pylon geometry (including cockpit area) and still be considered a valid gate passage.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

  • Randomly, not always

REPRODUCTION STEPS

  • Load Red Bull Air Race – Budapest - True To Life
  • Fly the first pylon of the chicane
  • Use a tight line that intersects the pylon geometry
  • Observe that no “Pylon Hit” penalty is applied
