The minimum PC performance are quite high. See the Redwings Discord.

The Hindenburg coming to … Nebraska? LOL

jeez that’s high i don’t even meet the minimum.. why does something need that much power?

It is said that it is a very big object (multiple size of a 747)with a lot of animation…

This is a complicated add-on that simulates things that are not done even in MSFS (as a workaround), the whole interior, many animation and many people. I see, one person fly it at RTX 1650 but he has 15-30 FPS. If this level is ok for you, why not to try it?

I’ll certainly try it despite my small configuration. But it also depends on the price!

As I know 29$, so not bad for this amazing work!

Btw. You can watch stream with LZ129. I see a lot of great features, even how pax are feeling!

From 1:24h (about) Twitch

So here is the reason why RTX 1650 isnt recomended. This GPU is the GPU 4 generations back from the current one. Since then, I have changed the graphics card 4 times .

Do you think it will affect more the GPU than the CPU? I have a small Ryzen 5 but my GPU is a GTX 4060. So, after all, may be this beast can work on my config!

On the plus side, this thing isn’t going to be doing 250kts, so maybe a slower pace will hide the slower frame rate a bit.

Still I can’t understand fully how it can be that much more demanding than say a PMDG 737 or BAe 146 with all those systems. The 3D engine in MSFS is amazingly efficient for rendering polys (but it struggles with animation and VFX / Alpha transparency) so I guess that is the culprit. I don’t think the SIZE of the object or the detail in the mesh would make a huge hit. If it does, then let’s hope there are LOD’s built in so it’s not terribad in multiplayer like the H160 and Wildcat!

may explain my poor fps in another thread (wildcat bad fps)

After watching some of the videos already released at the Redwing channel
(https://www.youtube.com/@redwingteam7540)

I must say this is probably one of the most detailed things (avoid the aircraft word) we could ever imagined for MSFS, the physics are simulated, all the airship systems, flight model, AI for different stations, etc etc.

It is a product with an amazing level of craftmanship and it will really help to see in a experimental way how airships can behave in MSFS, with the graphics the sim has flying at 200 meters and slow speeds is going to be fantastic for the views but will not dissapoing as there are a zillion things that need to be done to handle the ship.

I’ll be getting this in the minute it releases, hope a lot of people will also like the idea of flying something really different in MSFS.

LInk to user manual here: Aircraft LZ129 HINDEBURG | Red Wing Simulations
The manual is really complete and detailed, a pleasure to read and is a great indication of the amount of detail put in this product.

The manual is quite in-depth!

Has anyone jumped in yet?

As a zeppelin/dirigible fanatic, it is certainly tempting.

I wonder how ā€œinterestingā€ it would be to fly/operate.

Its out :fu: :fu: :fu:! Marketplace only:
