RedWing Simulations: LZ129 Hindenburg

Just discovered this trailer for the upcoming release from RedWing:

I am looking forward to add the famous Zeppelin to my (way too small) hangar!

Unfortunately, no more details are known.

Does it come with flame effects?

Can’t be too soon.

Can it?

I hope someone is working on scenery for Lakehurst, NJ!

You maybe right. Soon is a term used too loosely by software means… cough Squadron 42 cough

But I spot a Golden Gate Bridge under construction in the trailer, so there is more than just the airship. :grimacing:

Blown away by that trailer! The animated crew is really next level. This really looks like a one of a kind way to experience history.

Ha, might still be…

Redwing also has some backdated scenery. I would not expected that GGB under construction to be part of the LZ-129.
That would be a nice addition of course, but I think his Tempelhof 1930 cost as much as the Connie.
He also has a beautiful rendition of Friedrichshafen either ready or in the works, that of course would be home for both the LZ-129 as well as the Do-X

Not if you can find a helium refueling station.

They have? Never seen that stuff on SimMarket.
The Red Wing website seems to be from 1935, too.

Hah, that looks like fun. I am curious if we get that floating feel.

I’m looking forward to the 0.1G turns and the 50 ft/sec climb rate.

It is probably submitted but not yet approved if it is not there.
The sceneries do look nice, and while I am still not happy with the 3D model of the Connie, despite assurances that it would be fixed at some point, the support and reaction to reported issues on the Discord was very good.
I am just not sure I would want a partially backdated sim.
Back in the day I had a CalClassic 1960s version of FS9 for our Connies, including modified ATC and of course without any of the modern suck-burn-blow engines

Might be coming soon. Also Lakehurst 1935 is released.

New video, amazing work!

Wow, this looks like it’s worth purchasing just fo the detailed interior and ability to walkthrough a lost piece of history.

I’m not sure about that music. It was frightening me that the flight would have an untimely end. :scream:

I can’t wait to fly this airship

Cool project! I’m worried abou the performance, though, considering that the it’s already quite stuttery in the trailers, which usually show products at their best.

Also, the external engine sounds made me chuckle. They sound exactly like some guy going “bblblblblblblblblbllblb” (aka lip bubbles or “motoroboat”) with his mouth.
