Maybe the user could be provided with a hint as to how, rather than just a “you can” (and info for the rest of us too)

I think OP wants the reg physically in a different spot on the aircraft, not just customized in general.

Yep, he said it would be nice if it could be done, and it can be.
How depends on the requirements, but there’s several ways to get the job done.
It would take me several pages to write out the instructions for how. There’s documentation all over the place here on how to do it.
I didn’t say it’s easy (some ways are, some ways aren’t), but it can be done. He didn’t state his requirements for what he wants, so not only would it take a long time to write out and the information can be searched for here, but, without knowing exactly what he wants, given there’s so many ways to do it, I didn’t go into any more detail.
