Regarding Changes to Bug Reporting

Im looking for an official answer to this, not forum user speculation or guesses.

None of the instructions on the new bug report form or posts about changes regarding bug reporting have mentioned Zendesk.

Are we still meant to report to Zendesk if we want our bugs to have any real chance of being seen/addressed by the developers or have these new changes to the forum altered this process.

Zendesk will be used if a bug report isn’t gaining traction on the forum. Otherwise, the forum new Bug Reporting will be used to bring bugs forward.

On the new Bug Reporting section, there will be new guidelines and a new template on how to post. This is to assure the developers get the assistance they need to reproduce a bug.

Who monitors or decides if the issue hasn’t gained traction?

If I see a bug and post it, but there aren’t many responses, do you then want us to go an make a Zendesk ticket as well? How many responses/votes do we need before deciding to forward the issue to Zendesk itself?

Just seems to be a little, double handling…
