[RELEASE] 777F (for MSFS2024 | PMDG)

We’re excited to announce the release of our second aircraft for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024: the PMDG 777 Freighter. Built for long-haul performance and unmatched cargo capacity, the 777-F is a favorite among global carriers—and now it’s ready for your virtual hangar. Freighter ops are close to our hearts. They take you off the beaten path, into smaller airports and less scripted approaches, where flying becomes more hands-on and more rewarding.

Best of all, this is a free update for existing PMDG 777-F owners in MSFS 2020. If it’s in your account, you’ll see it appear automatically in PMDG Operations Center v3.

Get ready to take the heavy where others don’t go..

Had a really lovely - short! - flight in the 77F in ‘24 last night. I flew from the stormy skies of KMEM down to KATL. I hand-flew the the entire SID up to transition level before engaging AP and enjoying the scenery and amazing cloudscapes crossing northern Mississippi, north/central Alabama and Georgia.

Unfortunately, literaly as I was lined up on a 12 mile final, my phone and every device in the house began blaring with a Tornado Warning for my area. I paused the sim long enough to realize I had at least a little while before taking shelter, planted that plane “firmly” onto Rwy 26R in Atlanta, then ended the flight and shut down my PC. (We ended up with some dime-sized hail, a lot of thunder and lightning and a few inches of rain - the tornado in that cell passed a few miles south of us, fortunately).

Weather for the next week should be much less energetic - hopefully I get some better and more satisfying flights done over the upcoming Memorial Day holiday weekend here in the U.S.

Before you re-install, have Operation Center 3 verify the files. That will tell you if there is a problem with the files.

With that information contact our support and they will be able to sort out your issue.
