The Road Ahead

MSFS 2024 Native Release – Work is already underway on a fully native MSFS 2024 version. This will be delivered free of charge to all current owners.
-
New Variants – The 2024 release will also include two new functional variants at no additional cost:
• Banner Tow version

Community Thanks
This project would not have been possible without the support, feedback, and dedication of the community. I am deeply grateful to everyone who tested and contributed throughout development.
Special acknowledgements go to:
-
Smitty, for his excellent work on the flight model and engine behavior, building on the same expertise he brought to the American Champion Super Decathlon.
-
Chunky Flyer, whose artistry produced 21 of the Scout’s liveries, giving pilots a wide variety of beautiful options to fly with.
To all testers and community members who provided input—thank you. Your feedback made the Scout a stronger, more polished release.
Resources for New Owners
-
Please review the included manual for detailed procedures, features, and tips to get the most out of the aircraft.
-
For painters and creators, the official paintkit is also available to design your own Scout liveries.
Upcoming Collaborations and Opportunities
With release day here, I am also excited to share a glimpse of what’s next:
-
The Scout will be joining E-STOL competitions, entering the Spec Class in the coming weeks. This will be a chance for pilots to put its STOL capabilities to the test in a competitive environment.
-
Beyond E-STOL, Hangar Studios 713 has been approached with additional collaboration opportunities. More announcements will be made as details are finalized.
These new endeavors will expand the Scout’s presence and showcase its versatility across the MSFS community.
Final Note
The Scout is a project built for the community and it will continue to evolve. Your feedback guides improvements, and I am committed to keeping it one of the most capable and versatile bush planes in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Thank you again for your support—now take to the skies and enjoy the adventure.
