[RELEASE] Vessels: Cape Cod | Seafront Simulations

We are pleased to report development of Vessels: Cape Cod has completed!

The peninsula of Cape Cod, Massachusetts is a historic maritime area popular with tourists from Boston and much farther afield. The area is world renowned as a sport fishing destination, has a lively shellfish industry and is home to a significant number of leisure craft with plenty to see. The area is home to a wide variety of landing strips, seaplane bases and airports to begin your exploration from too!

The Cape is connected by local ferry services to the scenic, major islands of Martha’s Vineyard (the location of the Jaws film) and Nantucket which are also covered by this scenery.

In the pack you will find several local ferry services serving the islands with connections to both Hyannis and Woods Hole on the Cape.

As always we have filled the many marinas and inlets with realistic moored watercraft giving you over 8,500 vessels moored and travelling around the area.

Features:

  • Includes High Quality PBR Models
  • Includes over 8,500 vessels
  • Includes Smoke and Wake VFX
  • Includes Night and Navigation Lighting
  • Includes Local Ferry Services
  • Includes Water/Terrain/Vegetation Fixes

REQUIRED: You must install the free Vessels Core Library (available in the Marketplace under FREE) for this scenery to work.

TIPS: For more realistic wind and wakes increase the ground wind to above 3m/s

The scenery is in the queue for the MSFS Marketplace and will be available via Orbx too.

Hi @secretfarmerGal We haven’t tested with 3rd party addons.

We are happy to announce that Vessels: Cape Cod is now available for Xbox and PC via the MSFS Marketplace and OrbxDirect  for just $10.99USD (plus local taxes)!

Lovely work as always!
Side note: I did find the shark near Edgartown but it’s actually 180 degrees rotated so as not bite the boat. Can you confirm the issue or do I have a conflict?

@PacyFire - Odd, it’s showing correctly on our side. Can you email us at contactus@seafrontsims.com and we’ll try to diagnose it.

Thanks,

Chris
