Yep, the state.cfg file is not being updated for the Bonanza. I have resorted to manual editing of the file to ensure the configuration I normally/essentially always want. For the standard drive C: installation of the sim you can find the state.cfg file for the normally aspirated Bonanza here:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\SimObjects\Airplanes\bksq-aircraft-bonanzapro. For the two other variants only the last folder s are different, ending in bonanzaproturbo and bonanzaproturbine.
As mentioned I normally fly the normally aspirated version and I have edited the state.CFG file as follows, the changes I have made described in BOLD. You can obviously change any variable to suit your needs:

This remains unchanged when you use the aircraft and also ignores changes. I am fortunate that I prefer one configuration so I edit and save once and I am good. If you have multiple configurations you can edit before flight or maybe have more than one version of the state.cfg file that you can drag into the correct folder. You can also have different versions of the state.cfg for the three variants if you want.
