Good to hear , that was really just a tweak to get the burn and thrust to get it up to speeds. Still needs some fine tuning.. the dev just released an update so it might no longer be needed
I must correct myself in regard to speedbrake mismatch. This was a optical misinterpration. The speedbrake is still inop yet the action for cutoff is below the throttle lever. I first found this to be funny because I did not have the correct viewing angle.
Yeah 1.0.3 of the plane changed the following in the config:
fuel_flow_scalar =0.47 to 0.25
high_fuel_flow=1400 to 1100
thrust_scalar=1.25 to 1.50
So look like we had 50% of it. I was going to mess with high_fuel_flow and the static_thrust settings this afternoon. Looking up what high_fuel_flow does it affects the fuel usage at high n1 + n2 speeds - so he dropped the usage across the board but it should also be a little lower at full throttle at the high end.
I think this should resolve power an efficiency issues. With the small tweaks previous it put me into 990nm range with ~800mi usable at full fuel, this should bumb it to 1100 I would assume.
Has anyone found out, how to keybind throttle cutoff left/right? I tried throttle cut, toggle reverse thrust, toggle condition lever cut off⊠nothing worked. Is it possible to program a macro pointing it to the mouse position? Any help is appreciated.
I want to bind the cut off to reverse on my TQ3
She gives mostly glowing reviews to anything she is provided with⊠no offense to her but her flying skills are pretty darn questionable too lol. Into the blue is my go to person for reviews.
Hi! How did you learn of the update? Iâm didnât get an email.
And thanks for the tuning tips, glad theyâre now part of the core package now.
Yeah the fuel scalar of 0.36 is pretty ok for me now so Iâll leave that. The thrust scalar is whatâs making it feel overpowered itâll have to be anywhere from 1.30-1.40. The sweet spot is somewhere in that range you just gotta tinker
I saw it on Facebook. I didnât get an email either.
This works for me with the C510, but it doesnât work on the HJet.
Saw it mentioned here - I joined the discord though. Seems his site is having massive issues sending emails out - if he even did that.
Yeah he said he is working on the overpowered on the ground issue. This is going to require messing with the N1/N2 maps at this point. I can handle it being overpowered since I can now climb to FL410 and maintain 325kts while burning 80gallons / hour.
If anything heâs made it too lean now - so I think youâre right putting the fuel_scalar back to 0.36 would probably knock the fuel back to where it should be. Currently the planes ended up with roughly 1600nm range which is ~300nm more than it should have with full fuel and 1 passenger.
Itâs ok though, the plane is currently in good enough shape to enjoy flying, just not totally perfect - heâs responsive and working on it all. I think currently heâs a little overwhelmed with the amount of people bringing issues to him.
SET_FUEL_VALVE_ENG1 and switch_fuel_left to 0/1
seems it does not work well in VR :S I cannot click the middle buttons on the pedestal
When using the 1.0.3 release, the PFDs stay black. The MFD is working.
Downgrading to 1.0.2 restores the PFDs.
Is it just me?
I would contact the developer, but I tried to contact them a week ago about another issue, and never received a response. /shrug
Theyâre very active and responsive on discord. Maybe try there if you havenât already.
Might be a stupid question but how do I get the air ambulance version showing up in the sim?
Thanks for the heads up. Iâve been finding VR motion controller support on 3rd party and even Asobo planes is a very low priority. Itâs unfortunate for those who want to fly in VR without expensive equipment or immersion breaking keyboard & mouse. I know that these are small development studios, but a Quest 2 for testing is not a very large expense.
What is the current status of this aircraft? Worth it?
I really enjoy this little jet. But somehow all the labeling of the cockpit greets petty unreadable at normal distances and zoom settingsâŠ
Yes for me definitley. Its a real nice one
