The variometer has been slightly tuned. I’ll do some more testing with it. She may be dancing a little less now, but ill dive more into it haha. Good feedback.

On top of Jonx’s post above, we’re sneaking in a few more improvements with a focus on immersion:
- Ground roll vibrations, visible in the wing tips as well as the control stick
- Correct control stick animation, now accurately responding to actual control surface deflection
- Slew-proof FES-FCU unit
- Wing flutter at very high (above VNE) velocities

It would be best if we could have configurable averaging period or configurable responsiveness as defined in real LX vario manuals, so everyone could configure it to its taste (BTW for me it is quite good in Discuss, have more vario noise in LS4, but that is another story).
Beta Testing the Update. Will send it off for release soon. This will be last update asynchronous with the Official Marketplace. After this, we are going full steam on the Overhaul for November and the updates following will be synchronized with the in-game market due to the nature of us working directly off the new glider features coming in November. Also, this will uniquely help us with Bug Tracking, as we expect there will be problems as always with new feature integration, especially stuff we haven’t seen in any documentation. We will be learning it by trial and error.
For this interum update, you can expect a 3rd Party update this week, possibly tomorrow and an in-game Marketplace update next week.

If you’re not already aware, JackBilbo has been working hard on a fully custom navigation upgrade for the Discus-2c. His early work has contributed to the current version included in release. BTW you are amazing - I thought it will be glider develepement dry season till november official glider release, as any current work may need to be redone/adjusted after changes introduced by SU11 and yet you did it! Thank you!

Flightsim.to is experiencing some outages for their payware products, specifically file uploading. Unfortunately the Discus-2c is affected. The Freeware is uploaded, however I would save your refresh clicks for a few more hours. Hopefully it’s up and running again sooner rather than later.

Does plane tow work on Xbox?
They were suppose to introduce WASM in SU10, however, I believe that was delayed. It is already implented and ready to go, but it wont work until WASM is introduced on the Xbox

Excellent thanks, I loved this bird even before the update.
Maybe it’s just my settings but the yellow release handle seems to be no longer animated but I certainly can live with it so no sweat.
I’ll look into the yellow handle.

Hi everyone,
For some reason, when I use this glider I get a strong camera stuttering effect 1 min or 2 after start, like if my game was running at 5 fps (but it is actually running at 25-35 fps).
Am I the only one ?
I am using the premium discus…

I suspect you are using head tracking or similar. If your webcam/cellphone etc. cannot keep up with the frame rate it will stutter although you can possibly mitigate this a little with smoothing settings [e.g. in Opentrack]. Personally I use a 60fps camera and low/no smoothing without problems.
