this is fascinating really!
Now I understand why the sound of the turbine and propeller have to be separated because you have to modulate them separately (they overlap each other and change independently through power or rpm levers). But I do not see a way to record them separately. hmmmm
This is the Sound designer art to separate them!

Although Iām not specifically interested in the PC-6 to begin with, I still might consider it largely due to how much youāre eager to share your enthusiasm with the community ![]()
Iāve never seen a third party developer taking so much of his time to proudly share with the community an inside look on even the tiniest details, this is so refreshing and for me, it induces trust.
You seem so passionate about your product that you sometime makes me think of a kid that is so into his new creation that he tirelessly want the entire world to see each and every aspects of it ![]()
And I find this eagerness, passion and transparency to be exceedingly rare qualities in any businesses Iāve came across. Youāre a passionate person and willing to do this even if it means the risk to expose yourself to much more backfire if something goes wrong after release. But to me it precisely shows how confident you are in your product and it is of the essence.
I love that attitude, hats off to you, keep it up and never change it. Be sure itās very highly regarded by some of us and thus time well spent
Iām sure Iām not the only one here thinking the sameā¦
I just wanted to tell you that. Keep up the good work

I bought the DC-6 for similar reasons. ![]()
Thanks a lot for the kind words and support!
From the very beginning, we wanted to show the aircraft developing process for the most modern flight simulator. For our team, regularly informing the communities about the project progress has become the best tradition! It inspires us and your feedback turns routine work into a reality show! Itās incredible to see the response to even the smallest successes! Many thanks to EVERYONE who took the time to get acquainted with our project and evaluate our work! Very soon everyone will be able to test the strong wings of our Porter!

Best Regards, FSG
You mean like this? ![]()
Iām really looking forward to your Porter. Iāve not seen such an open, transparent, and frankly exuberant development process.
I look forward to whatever your group turns your attentions to next. ![]()
Hi Hobanagerik! Well, we have started an initial phase of a new project, but currently this is a strict NDA!!!

Given all the drama about the AS Twin Otter going on and clearly your dedicated effort with the Porter despite two other versions already being released, an FSG Twin Otter would make a lot of people happy. Just a thought, but Iām sure you have other irons in the fire by now.
Thank you Jetstreamsky!
Everyday making PC6 we learn something new and any next airplane always will have the āPorterā spirit!
Maybe built a British Aerospace Jetstream next
.
Someone tell Aerosoft to check out this thread on how to do sound properly for the Twin Otter. The PC-6 is coming along really well and Iām keen to see the final textures come alive!
Iām curious if youāve encountered a way in your development to either 1) activate that headphone mode from within the aircraft or 2) simulate headphones from within the aircraft (i.e. by clicking where youād plug the headphones in.) This was something Iāve seen in X-Plane and P3D, but not sure that itās possible in MSFS yet. Itād be awesome to not have to go to the menu!
Hi LostBoii1103
We prefer to use default UI and options as much as possible to avoid future problems after next SU. ![]()
Do you know this French expression āLāArlĆ©sienneā ?
" The expression ālāArlĆ©sienneā comes from the eponymous tale by Alphonse Daudet written in 1866 and set to music by Bizet. The story is based on a heroine, the Arlesian, who is expected by her fiancĆ©, but who never appears on stage. By extension, the phrase ended up designating any thing or action expected, but which never happens.
Meaning :
Something we wait for, but which never comes."
āWith time and patience the leaf of the mulberry bush becomes satin.ā
