They’re improving step by step. But they made a mistake placing Hard Rock’s guitar in the wrong spot (IRL is facing the Strip).
Aren’t all GSX profiles available on the Glideslope Pro website?
Not for klas. Dev said its not created yet. It really needs a profile. Pax loading is a mess!
MSFS MP KLAS is not updated. Im starting to think someone broke the Update MP 2024 compared to MSFS2020 MP. lol.
I’m so glad I got the GSP version. There is no coming back from FlyTampa in Vegas…they had their chance!
Also, been in talks with the dev and he will be adding some more cool stuff in future updates! Great job GSP!!

Just purchased this today from their site and tried flying a Fenix A320 from KLAS to KPHX (in SU5 and VR) and had severe pauses of 20-30 seconds that crashed my connection. Have no idea the culprit. It felt more like server disconnects than a stuttering scenery but the new scenery was the only thing I changed on my setup after a few very lovely flights in SU5. Later I got things to smooth out flying a C172 over the area after it experienced major pauses at first.
Very pretty stuff although the fountains at the Belagio Hotel were shooting pink water as if some texture was not loading.
Glideslope Pro have just released an update V 1.5.0.
They are on

Update V 1.5.5 has been released. Added the Rio Masquerade Tower, Treasure Island Hotel and Vdara Hotel. Fixed F1 logo on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.

And the Cromwell is closing this weekend, just to be re-named Vanderpump Hotel.

Would you say this is better than the FlyTampa version?
I only have the FT version. The city is definitely better in GSP’s, although the airport doesn’t look as good. FT’s also has the bug that doesn’t allow PG compatibility (and despite FT’s claims, it is a bug, since the GSP scenery doesn’t suffer the same problem).
To be fair, FT’s is still decent, despite the shortfalls. You’d be happy with either, I think.
I had the FlyTampa 2020 version, but I am not purchasing their 2024 version. GSP looks great, has ongoing updates, and most importantly to me it is technically correct with regard to ILS glideslopes and runway elevations.

I prefer GSP’s KLAS over FT’s KLAS v3 due to the more frequent updates as FlyTampa is not bothering to update landmarks/POIs unlike GSP did.

Thanks guys/gals, I have the FT version, but was thinking about trying the GSP KLAS if it was a lot better.
I take a 15-20fps hit when I look at the strip from the airport on the ground with FT version.
Same reason I’m going to buy this one vs the one from FT. For all we know it’ll be another six months before FT releases another update to theirs.
I think I am going to buy the GSP version tomorrow. Looks great!
I have one issue with this scenery/airport. If I fly down the strip past the Hard Rock Hotel, my sim pauses for up to 30 seconds. It then continues but every time I fly past that area I get a pause.

Just found out Glideslope Pro is BMW/AMSIM. Not sure I am really interested, good scenery or not.
From a personal perspective, I’m willing to let bygones be bygones. Their customer support is amazing (always has been) and their scenery is of a high standard. I get why people would perhaps hesitate but avoiding BMW/Amsim (remember, Amsim was never accused of anything) will just result in fewer choices for the simmer.
If they have what you want, I’d say go for it. If they did what they were supposed to have done, I’d say being banned from the majority of stores was punishment enough.
I know of many respected devs who claim to value ethics but totally ignore (and even dismissively challenge) repeated requests to fix bugs. FlyTampa actually being one of them…
