[RELEASED] iniBuilds F406 Caravan II

Could be the ignition, was it off on one flight and on in the other?

Thanks for the idea!

I also get a constant ticking when everything is off. For me it seems to be the seconds needle of the clock. Woudl drive me crazy in real life.

I did think that …but they were not uniform …

I made some more tests with the release version and there are just still a lot of things not right for me:

  • visual glitches in external view
  • spray panel in all versions
  • no anti-collision light effects
  • no taxi light ground effect
  • starter allone cranks NG up to idle rpm (52%) even with fuel-cutoff
  • reverse thrust to weak
  • beta range modelled wrong
  • to weak roll effect with OEI
  • no noticable yaw effect with OEI
  • gear horn cutout switch doesnt work
  • AP cant be switched on GPS
  • cant import Flightplan from MSFS2024 EFB with “Send to avionics”
  • cant get ADF needle to work
  • Torque doesn´t sufficiently increase when RPM is decreased

Cheers

I appreciate you sharing these findings! Those fundamental engine flaws are show stoppers for me. I can look past some small glitches and short comings but even with the flawed turboprop model that we’ve had since FS2000, we’ve at least had better torque and NG simulation than this for 25 years. That’s just unacceptable. iniBuilds taking over the vacancy left by Carenado for the king of ‘pretty but frustratingly flawed’ GA market.

Didn’t think I needed this until checking controls free & correct during preflight; pulling the yoke full aft earns a stall warning horn, on the ground!

The observation controls are on the back side of the pilot’s left panel too.

If you don’t mind editing files, that’s an easy fix I posted a couple of days ago.

See Stardrifter’s post (#66). The 650 will switch. The older Garmin will to, but it just doesn’t change the display to reflect it.

How can it be that such simple errors are not noticed in a beta test?
Inibuilds seems to have really poor quality management, the main thing is to sell.

ini just announced an update…

Late reply sorry, thanks! I’ll possibly still buy but wait and see how the bugfixes roll out

Has anyone already tested the update? Have the biggest bugs been fixed or are there any new bugs?

Im getting an error when installing this update into 2024 (2020 is fine)

Anyone else getting this?

Update: Just restarted my PC and it says it’s loaded!

Yes same error

It seems according to Discord that the pilots are now missing in the outdoor model. ini at its best😂

I dont have this problem, it must be added with default efb, default is 0 weight. Same for cargo.

Does anyone else experience a very nose-up attitude when on every phase of the approach, even with full flaps? Seems counterintuitive.

I haven’t flown the update yet, but last week in the launch version, I’d say yes. What I found after a few flights is that if I had the aircraft correctly configured for the approach, that the runway would be just visible, almost sitting on the nose if you will. Once I got used to that view, was no problem to maintain the glideslope to landing, but forward visibility was clearly much less than other GA twins I’m flying in the sim. Hope that helps, good flying!

I find keeping the speed up a bit helps @120kts
