You can also hit SYNC (on the TMS to Engine 1 in conjunction with TGT) too. I was finding I need TGT of about 650-680 deg (higher than I remember previously). It’s an interesting find that you can use TGT across subsequent legs though. Where do you look up “correct thrust setting to match a speed of M.70” and how do you dial that exact thrust in on the throttle? I’ve been doing it manually so I dial in a TGT value then just drop throttle back a bit until TGT/TMS control ‘kicks in’, then readjust TGT upwards in small increments until cruise speed is where I want it. A much less scientific method than it probably should be!
